- Black belts – Must compete one of local tournament from South padre, Corpus Christy, Houston, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio. Must win 1st,2nd or 3rd to go to State and Jr. National, national championship. If win Jr. Nationals and Nationals, must compete in team trials for US team held in Olympic training center in Colorado. US open is optional. Must be US citizen to compete in National level. If student wants to compete for team Mexico, must talk to Master Song.
- Color belts – Must compete one of local tournament from South padre, Corpus Christy, Houston, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio. Must win 1st,2nd to go to state and Jr. National, National championship.
- Competition team must be approve by Master Song. Not all students can be member of competition team. Master Song will check student’s academic grade and interview with parents to meet the requirements to be a member of competition team. NO EXCEPTION
- There are two types of competition teams. Forms and Sparring. Master Song will decide which is best for the students.
- Competition team must have all the Tae Kwon Do gears, team uniforms, team warm ups, purchased from Master Song only. NO EXCEPTION.
- Parents can form fundraising committee to help the students to travel and paid for competition fees including coaches pass, travel expenses and room and 2 meals expenses per day.
- Thirty days before major competition: State, Jr. National, US OPEN, Regional Qualifiers, Students must attend special training every Saturday for 5 hours until the competition week.
- During the competition, Students must wear team uniforms at all times to representing the school. Students must stay together as a Team. Support each other during the competition.
- Students must follow rules as there are in TaeKwondo school.
